I'm not sure I understand. A small, home router will create multiple private IP addresses for each port on its switch or more if you add another switch as a "splitter." This happens automatically whether the actual, public IP address that the larger LAN assigns to your connection is static or dynamic. The home router/switch then acts as a hardware firewall to any outside traffic. An example private IP address would be 192.168.100.xx Does that help?
