    Hello, everyone. In order to ensure the quality of Deepin Store V4.0 to be released, we now launch the Internal test . Members of Internal test Team: please join in the activity actively. Thank you!   

    Testing  Schedule

    • November 13, 2015: The testing begins.
    • November 13, 2015——November 19, 2015: You test Deepin Store V4.0 and fill in the Internal Test Questionnaire.
    • November 19, 2015: The testing ends.

    Testing Steps

    1. Please download and install the special iso file for the internal test of deepin 15 (extraction code will be uniformly sent by forum message). After installation, right-click on Desktop to start terminal and execute the following command:
    1. sudo apt-get update
    Copy the Code
    When the terminal displayed a prompt for password, please input the current account password (actually nothing displayed in the screen) and then press Enter, wait a moment to complete the installation.

    2. Visit Internal Test Questionnaire of this activity, test Deepin Store V4.0 and fill in the testing results.

    FAQ

    1, If applications can not be installed by Deepin Store, please right-click on Desktop to start the terminal, then execute the following command to fix it (please touch type password and then press Enter key when prompts for password):
    1. sudo dpkg --configure -a
    Copy the Code
    2, If there is any other problem, please right-click on Desktop to start the terminal then execute the following command:
    1. tar -czvf log.tar.gz /var/log/dpkg.log /var/log/apt /var/log/lastore/
    Copy the Code
    Then send log.tar.gz created on Desktop to https://bbs.deepin.org/module

    • This Internal Test activity is limited to members of Internal Test Team. Will you join in Internal Test Team?
    • Members of Internal Test Team attend this activity by default.
    • Members of Internal Test Team who don't give feedback on the testing activities four times in a row will lose the membership of Internal Test Team.
    • Please don't spread the content or data of this Internal Test activity without permission, or you'll lose the membership of Internal Test Team.

    Maybe this is the wrong thread for this but I have applied as a beta tester and didnÄt get choosen. So I ask this again here, Will deepins next release be there for christmas or will we have to wait much longer?

    The password should be sent by PM. And according to the  Deepin Developer And User Conference, we will get alpha 2 soon.

    @Maximo88, try the ICR. I guess they will help you.
