2014-11-06 14:14 deepin Not at all familiar with the software in the least bit but in looking at the install instructions on the above link it looks much like a number of installs I've done on Deepin in regards to other software that I use on a daily basis. I just make sure that the packages and/or command line stuff I do is compatible with Ubuntu 14.04.
I'm not a Linux master-mind or a command line pro but with the simple thought that since Deepin is Ubuntu-based the above should work but get other help/opinions.

Limited software availability on the Deepin repositories? 
I need to install a software called deduceR, its made for data analysis such as SPSS and others. The thing is I dont know how to do it, because in their wiki they dont tell you how to.
