I just noticed that when I was using the Dplayer to play a movie that there was video tearing when in Full screen now I know that Linux is always plagued with this issue and I know how to fix this. I've done what I do normally to fix this, like checking the sync to Vblanc in compiz and also adding the code in etc/environment
CLUTTER_PAINT=disable-clipped-redraws:disable-culling
CLUTTER_VBLANK=True
But when using Dplayer whenever there is fast moving picture the video tears. Also I installed VLC player and this doesn't happen when using VLC player, I would like to use Dplayer but unless I can fix this issue I'm sticking with VLC for now. Why does this happen in Dplayer and not VLC?
